Scope: Branding
A Pokemon trading card shop that specializes in selling high-value cards for collectors and enthusiasts. The branding captures the essence of the Pokemon universe while providing a unique and personalized experience for customers.
The Challenge
In its local market, trading card shops often feel amateur, cluttered and designed primarily for established hobbyists. Kōdō needed to feel credible to collectors while introducing a more premium and considered retail experience.
The Approach
I created a refined, collection-first experience built around strong art direction, clear product presentation and confident visual hierarchy. The result makes browsing and buying cards feel more curated and trustworthy without losing the energy of the Pokémon collecting community.
